There can be a lot of debate over which fast food company can create the best burger. Everyone may have a different opinion, or have certain reasons as to why they think their choice is the best. We looked to find what the mass population thought as a whole, in order to determine who really does make the best burger. Some of the burgers on this list may be sectioned to certain parts of the US, but you can use it as a travel excuse. “I need to go try the best fast food burger in the country.”

Starting off our list is Wendy’s, but more specifically, the “Hot and Juicy”  Unlike any of the cheaper “junior” cheeseburgers, the is the second most expensive burger at Wendys, it also had the distinction of tasting like a more expensive, non-fast-food burger. The bakery bun, coupled with the extremely melty American cheese, the slightly more fancy and biting red onion, and the salty, seasoned square of beef makes you feel like you are at a fast-casual sit-down restaurant. And yet it still came to me extremely quickly. Very impressive.

Next on the list would have to be the famous “In N’ Out Burger” This is an example of a sectioned Burger place. Located primarily in California. The thin, grilled patty, the sweet ‘n sour mix of the spread, the freshly washed crunch of the lettuce, everything is as you imagined. Also, the price point is right in the middle of many of the larger national chains, and none of them touch the quality for the money. But with all else being pretty equal between the top two, that wait time plays a factor. you will waited 30% longer here than you will\ anywhere else, and though it does help to build anticipation, it is enough to knock it out of the top spot.

Coming in at the number one spot for Americas favorite burger is Five Guys! More specifically their Bacon Cheeseburger. I have personally had this delicious cheeseburger, and I must agree with its spot on this list. Five Guys has a unique burger, and never fails to satisfy! They are known for their customization options, basically building your burger from the ground up. There is no such thing as “no” at Five Guys. You start with the option of up to three patties, (I’m sure they would do a fourth upon request) and from there you add your selection of toppings. All of which are fresh and delicious. Five Guys also gives you a one of a kind dine in experience. Always offering complimentary peanuts to accompany your cheeseburger. I cant lie, a Five Guys Cheeseburger might cost you a dollar or two more than you might have expected, but that all fades away after you receive your one of a kind Five Guys Burger!
