We’ve all seen some pretty crazy commercials over the years, but only a few take the cake to a whole level of internet weirdness. Or in this case, they take the burger. In this incredibly odd, funny, and disturbing Burger King Triple Whopper commercial, a man sits down at a table during his lunch break and is about to indulge in what appears to be the greatest hamburger this man has ever seen. A delicious, triple patty beef burger with American cheese layered among the inside with lettuce and tomatoes to top off this party of flavor. As he is about to take his first bite, he realizes that his meal (fit for a king) wouldn’t be complete without a drink. So off to the soda machine he goes when, unbeknownst to him, it appears that his coworker sitting behind him has also sparked an appetite for that exact burger and once the man’s back is turned, he goes in for the kill. The second man suddenly falls to the floor and…literally slithers like a snake to the first man’s table and begins to move up towards the hamburger. Once he has it in front of his face, he slowly and creepily unhinges his jaw and starts to gobble the poor burger right up in one whole bite. As he is finishing, the first man turns around and throws his hands up to his head and now is forced to watch in sheer horror the end of what could have been the greatest thing he would have eaten all day. The second man, completely unapologetic, busts out into a karate chopping menace and shouts the name of the burger before giving a serious look into the camera. With Burger King, I always thought I had only those frightening commercials that featured the actual BK King to worry about. But now, I can add one more to the list.
