Johnny Rockets is a favorable burger place for many, whether you’re in the mood for a big ‘ol cheeseburger, a Philly cheese steak, a big salad, or if you just want to try one of their delicious milkshakes, Johnny Rockets has it all. Founded in 1986 by Ronn Teitelbaum, this establishment is designed to be a recreation of the 1940’s malt shops Teitelbaum remembers so vividly from his childhood. This place was made to not only offer you some of the best burgers in town, but to also ensure you have a great experience every time you visit! Every half-hour, the staff sings and dances so you get a wonderful show while you eat. When you order fries, they are brought to you with a smile – literally! The waitress or waiter will make a smiley face for you with ketchup on a paper plate; this is their most popular trademark. From it’s friendly staff to it’s incredibly tasty menu, Johnny Rockets is the perfect place to make all of your cheeseburger dreams come true. In fact, during our last visit the staff were even kind enough to donate one of their menus to the International Hamburger Museum! This just goes to show that they will go far out of their way to make sure that every customer has the best experience!

In my lifetime, I have been to countless burger establishments but one that has made it’s way into my top favorite local burger places is definitely Johnny Rockets. Their burgers may be some of the best around, but their milkshakes are out of this world. On their menu, they have so many tasty looking things that I never even know what i’m going to get next! They have their “Original” burger, which is the burger that started it all back in 1986 on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Their other burgers include the “Houston Burger”, this burger is made up of jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, iceberg lettuce, fresh tomato & a spicy sauce for all of you spicy-food lovers, a “Route 66” burger that has swiss cheese, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions & mayonnaise, and of course, their “Rocket Double Burger” for all of you orignal double cheeseburger lovin’ fans! If you’re in Daytona Beach, visiting a Johnny Rockets would be highly recommended by us here at Burger Web because we are lucky enough to have our own local Johnny Rockets right by the beach! Located at 250 N Atlantic Ave. Daytona Beach, you get a beautiful view of the beach and when you’re finished eating, why not take a stroll on it as well?

Every visit I have ever made to a Johnny Rockets has only made me more excited to go again the next time. I can never get enough of their burgers and shakes because there is simply no other place in town just quite like it.
