It was just another beautiful day here in Daytona Beach when Hamburger Harry suggested we all head out and try out the burgers over at the Charlie Horse Restaurant. I, never having been there before, did not really know what to expect from this establishment. But once we arrived and were seated, I could tell that the Charlie Horse Restaurant was a favorable place for many. It was a lovely little diner, with customers seated at either the bar or in a booth, filling the room with their chatter. As my eyes roamed around the room, I could see signs that read “All You Can Eat Alaskan Snow Crab” and in my mind I drooled a little bit but we were here on business…..burger business…..and I needed to concentrate.  My eyes scanned the menu, trying so hard not to focus on the crab legs. Luckily though, I found the burger section just in time. We placed our order with the waitress and off she went. For the next 10 or 15 minutes we sat and waited, and when our food was ready and finally came out, I think we could all agree that our eyes almost popped out of our heads. The burgers were huge! I hadn’t seen such a large burger in quite a while and I was more than excited to know that in only a few seconds I would be devouring it. It was a warm and soft, sesame seed bun with several tasty pieces of crispy bacon in between it and a beautifully melted slice of American cheese, all on top of the most deliciously looking, super thick, beef patty. It was what hamburger dreams are made of. Their entire menu looked so delicious that I anxiously await the next time I will be stopping by so I may try more….but it will be hard trying to tear myself away from ordering another burger!
