The Hamburger Museum currently has two burger beds. One is the creation of Hamburger Harry, his Cheeseburger Water Bed is superb.
While Kayla Kromer’s bed was a true love of labor and how it came to be at the Hamburger Museum is an interesting story you can find at hamburgerbed.com . Both beds are superior examples of the kind of custom bed people on a mission can create.
Every attention to detail was made. Starting with custom bed covers made to go around the custom bed frames, and custom bed linens & bed sheets, along with custom bed skirts. Neither of these beds are done justice by the pictures, they are just something you have to see in person for the full affect.
The International Hamburger Hall of Fame acquired this bed in July 2012 from Kevin Sito of San Diego. This is Kevin’s description:
This cheese burger bed was made in 2011 as a fun experiment on converting a round bed into something exciting. This bed is very comfortable and has 2 buns, a patty, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes , and pickles. The bed measures approximately 45" high by 100" diameter.
