Ah, yes. Cheeseburger cakes. It’s about time we finally brought attention to this great art of cake decorating. Of all the things in this world that can be created to look like a cheeseburger, cakes are probably my top favorite. Not everyone can create something so beautiful, but to those who are able to, congratulations to you. You have reached the epitome of what it means to be a true artist. Can we just take a moment to really appreciate this? It is absolutely incredible how realistic these artists are able to make their creations look, and the color and shading….brilliant! It was very difficult having to choose which burger cakes I thought were the best, because in my opinion every burger cake is a wonderful thing. But here are some pictures of some of the best examples of a cheeseburger cake I could find, and I hope you can enjoy them as much as I do.
Cheeseburger Picnic Cake
Now this is what i’m talking about. This particular cake is so well-painted and detailed, it’s hard to tell whether it’s a real burger or not! This masterpiece was created by Rose Warden – a cake decorator in AB, Canada. She has created many beautiful cakes and you can view them all on her website. She is a very kind a talented artist and I hope there will be many more wonderful burger cakes made by her in the near future!
The Bacon and Swiss Burger Cake
I’ve always been a great fan of American cheese, but I enjoy Swiss all the same. Especially when it’s piled on top of a whole load of bacon! This particular cake might indeed be the first burger cake I’ve ever seen that does not have American cheese, and for that I salute this chef for thinking outside the box and making it a very not-your-average-cheeseburger-cheeseburger-cake.
The Burger Beast
Wow! This cake is so big that for a second you might think it’s the famous Mallie’s Sports Bar & Grill monster-sized burger! The chef behind this cake really excelled with the color and size. No wonder they won a ribbon – it’s amazing!
The Hot Dog & Burger Cake
This cake is one of my favorites because the chef went as far as to create a hot dog alongside the burger and I simply can’t tell which one looks more delicious! I especially like the smoothness of it all. Even though this cake may appear to be a bit smaller than the others, you can tell this artist dedicated a lot of time into getting each part of this piece just right. Even the little bag of ketchup on the side must have taken quite some time and it definitely shows because it is all simply perfect!
